Hi guys….Ughhhhhh!!!!!! I don’t like to exercise. This effort that you have to make and then if you’re going to the gym you have to get up early like 5am so that you can put in the exercise then go to the office after. Yes people, that is what I was doing for a few months then going to walk in the afternoons up this challenging hill. But as time passed I think I burned out and one day I suddenly didn’t want or even have the mental strength to exercise, so I stopped. Normally before doing that vigorous regime, I generally either went to the gym in the afternoon, 3 times a week or I would only walk in the afternoon with my girlfriend or daughter.
Walking was fine and it isn’t as strenuous but the path we walked, a hill called chancellor is no easy walk and its about 2 miles or more and a steep walk uphill for about 30 to 35 minutes depending on your pace. So that was my workout but I have to say that eventually walking the hill got boring then we started walking the Savannah and that was OK but also got boring after a while, but at least I was exercising. The crux of the matter is we need to exercise no matter what age as it helps keep us healthy and it sets off endorfines that makes us happy and it;s just all round good for us. Some people are addicted to the gym and they need it, like my husband and some people are very disciplined and are able to keep it in their routine because they knwo its important and they can operate like that but I tend to get bored doing one thing too long or if I do too much then I burn out.
Which is what happened to me and when I stopped exercising it was a great break but then I suddenly realised that lately I’m sleepy all the time especially by mid day and dealing with my clients was difficult as I felt like sleeping and keeping awake to listen to them was becoming harder. Yes!!! OBOY! Revelation!! I have to start back exercising. Exercise helps build up your stamina and for me as I stopped I was loosing my strength and my stamina. So I started back in the gym last week and I am very resistant, the minute I did return my energy returned and I no longer feel sleepy all of the time.
As part of my role as a Executive Coach, if i have a client who is overweight or complaining about a lack of energy or anything like that I immediately start working with them to do some exercising or simple exercises to start off so that they can build up their energy level. When you exercise your energy increases. So what are some of the things they say about exercise when I did some more research?
Is It Dangerous To Start Exercising?

What Happens When You Work out?
Your muscles need energy for your workout, so your body burns fats and carbohydrates in a series of chemical reactions that produce heat. Exercise also increases your heart rate and help pump more blood through your system, which is also what raises your core temperature. (bestlifeonline.com).
Is Exercising Every Day A Good Thing?
As a general goal, aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity every day. If you want to lose weight, maintain weight loss or meet specific fitness goals, you may need to exercise more. … You can achieve more health benefits if you ramp up your exercise to 300 minutes or more a week. How Do You Feel After Exercising?
Most exercisers are familiar with that “high on life” feeling you get after a good session – but how exactly does exercise make us feel so good?
Researchers are pretty well convinced that exercise plays a pivotal role in improving our moods, but the research into why it’s so effective is only in preliminary stages. The reason you feel so alert after a good huff-and-puff could be thanks to increased blood volume in the brain.
Researchers believe that exercising to the point of fatigue causes an increase in tryptophan, which leads to the synthesis of the serotonin neurotransmitter, which is what antidepressants target.
Others believe that exercise releases feel-good hormones called endorphins. (coach.nine.com.eu)

People do some exercising even if it’s simply walking for 30 minutes, do it. We all need it as well as, eating healthy. Watch the sugar intake, the carb intake, the bread intake and drink lots of water. So to close, I’m back in the gym from 5am and I’ll attempt to do it 2-3 times a week and I’m considering doing yoga soon. Sigh!! WHY!!! Just kidding, we all know why it’s necessary …… for a healthy life.
